Yeah I got my first bug last night. Near the California outdoor movie theatre, a zombie was stuck in the ground. I thought I'd get mega XP by using a critical hit via unarmed. On my 3rd strike, the game froze. Bah. Should have realised, TBH.

Anyway, I'm about 8 hours in, and done relatively f*ck all as I'm just ransacking where I've been for stuff. I missed so much stuff in Primm the first time around. Anyone managed to open the safe (Hard) in the managers office in Steve Bison hotel? It contains "Lucky", a unique magnum  I ain't got into it yet, as my lockpick is too low even with skillbooks and apparel, but my mate got it last night.

Also, those rare snow globes littered around, collect them! ;)

I had my PS3 lock up playing yesterday, had to restart the console as it wouldn't respond.

After hours of trawling the wastelands the only glitches I've had so far:
  • Dead bodies of Radscorpions mysteriously blasting past like they'd been shot with the Bloody Mess perk but nobody is around
  • Radscorpions being stuck in the ground, not gonna complain about that one :)
  • Body of some guy in a Rad suit sunk into the ground
  • Texture/Details missing from the ground then in suddenly just appears after few seconds
  • Few Transparent rocks dotted around
All in all nothing major, even Fallout 3 after all its DLC updates still suffered from few of these glitches

Bit of an update.

Since my disaster yesterday with the save file corrupting (see previous page) I've started again. Really glad I did actually.

On my first game I took a load of quests and left a few unfinished. This time I've been trying to clear them before moving on. lol.

Did the usual Primm quests, then clearing the Nightkins at REPCONN, following Benny to Vegas etc.

Up to Lv9 now, with an infinitely better character and better weapons.

I've just moved into the Penthouse at the Lucky 38, and I now run the New Vegas Strip and all it's Securitrons.

Not bad for 8 hours, eh?

Ok, I haven't bought the guide. What's the deal with the ammo? For instance 9MM +P.

I can't work out the bench either. Gave me a huge list of stuff that I can apparently make and some how made an Electron round by accident.

Nope, just playing it pretty geekily. lol.

If you focus on certain things early on, you can chew through the first ten levels in a few hours, no trouble.

Lol how the funk!?

**Spoiler Alert**

After killing Benny and retrieving the Platinum Chip in the Tops Casino and searching his room, speak to Yes Man in Benny's suite.

Nip over to the Lucky 38, hack into Mr. House's system, disconnect him from his system (or kill him) then go back to Yes Man. He'll nip across to the Lucky 38 with you and install himself as the main AI.

Vegas now has a new overlord. :approve:

Bloody hell! I really need to start "doing things". I'm just wandering around collecting stuff at the moment.

I killed the person who collects the snow globes. FML.

Ouch. They're worth 2000 caps, each!

Only had an hour on this. Having a new born Boy is great, but it seriously limits my time on this!

Only came across a few sound glitches, nothing frozen up yet. Cant seem to hack the terminal in the Saloon of the first village your in, and I hate having to wait for the logging in screen everytime!

Anyone know if the Pre-War books are worth anything like they were in FO3? Only have a value of 1 cap now and they are everywhere. used to enjoy getting a nice stash of them, then cashing in at the library.

Thats all I've been doing too, wandering the Wastelands discovering locations. Think I'm up to about 15hrs now, up to level 8 and only just met the Khans and been told Benny has gone.

Just got the email from Amazon letting me know the Guides been dispatched so no more blindly wandering around lol

I haven't been reading the Main Quest stuff on the guide, but I have been reading the first 30 or so pages. I'd recommend doing so once you get the book. Some great tips and information in there, and not really spoiling things, either.

I really need to start paying attention to the story, I dont know what ive done or whats going on anymore, but the game is highly frustrating, why is it everytime i use a sawn off the reload jams, Or when i want to use VATS or the inventory in a gunfight sometimes (90% of the time) it simply doesnt register me wanting to use it :(

Yeah, the guide is a must if you want to rinse the game.

Almost mades up for how mental you look, sat on a beanbag in front of your TV with some Kettle Chips and a f*ck-off game guide, talking to poorly-lipsynced zombies.

FYI, you look well cool. If my door wasn't locked, it'd be like the Lynx advert with all the sluts running towards me an' that.

I <3 this game.

Hero I will look out for that when I come on to it. What computer skill do you need to hack the system as mine is still stock lol

The reload jamming could be down to the skills you have, but the VATS thing sounds like a bug. Not come across that, mind.

None. LOL.

Makes sure you talk to House before you get the Platinum Chip from Benny. Accept House's quest.

That way, he'll tell you his passcodes. Silly old c*nt.

Then go and kill Benny, get the chip and double-cross House.

Win.

PMSL.

Oh, and speaking of all things party, I loaded my DLC content (the Mercenary pack) and only just realised yesterday that they were in my inventory. The grenade gun is fantastic. Took out a coyote mother and her pup in a trailer with one grenade, splattering them both everywhere. That was funny. The lightweight metal armour is also worth a fortune and has fantastic damage retention. So that's my current setup. I've also got ED-E as my sidekick, so he's carrying a lot of my stuff. Got loads of weapons, too. Mainly the usual stuff, don't have any unique weapons as yet, other than this Merc Grenade Launcher.

LOL. This is why Fallout games are so brilliant.

Because there's so many quests and paths, everyone has their own stories.

Apart from Cookie. He doesn't have any since there's no one left to interact with.

^ LOL. So true. I think the shops have banned him from buying the game.

When given the opportunity, take the Comprehension perk as soon as you can. Excellent perk, best taken early on.

Did I mention how awesome it is, even with the bugs?

It's awesome. Even with all the bugs.

In fact, the bugs are awesome.
