false floor amp fixing



right angled bits off wood? sorry cant see the pics only suggesting form what i can guess in the post
 


I did the same thing with mine, but I put a thin sheet of MDF underneath. I screwed the amps (two of them) to the MDF, screwed some pine supports to the MDF and screwed the whole amp/mdf/pine setup to the false boot floor. I cut some holes in the false floor and use a router to put a groove around the edge of the holes and inlayed some black fine-mesh grille, then carpeted over the lot with cut-outs where the grilles were. Looks quite neat, except I screwed the amps in a little bit crooked and now I cant be bothered pulling it back up to straighten them lol
