FAO Anyone who hasn't got a Whiteline ARB

  GW 200
Bolt on jobby. Bolts to the same place the rear suspension is attatched to. RRP is around 155 iirc.

So its just a matter of attaching the two drop links to either end of the ARB, removing lower bolts to both rear shocks, attaching ARB and re-attaching shocks through it ?

All that + bolting on 2 brackets onto the rear axel. But yeh you got it spot on.

If you look through the old group buy thread gray has posted some pics on how they fit

Does this not make the back end a bit more lively on lift off. Going on how easy it is to get the T to lift off oversteer, removing more flex from the rear is going to make it pretty twitchy!?

Not twitchy at all. Completely solid around corners now. As I said before I don't really need to worry about what the back end is doing now.

You can also adjust it to suit your driving style too so it's win win really!

I have driven Warrens car and these feel really good.

Still worthwhile even with AST's,I have asked Curtis and he said anything that helps the back end is worth it.Easy to disconnect to.

I dont think they produce the non adjustable one anymore.

If Fred gets a group buy up again i'll buy one this time.

I was humming and argghing about the one Luke recently bought as I saw the thread as soon as it popped up but decided not to bother as I'd just forked out for my Konis. Although if Fred does set up another group buy I'd be tempted to get one as I hear nothing but good things about them.

Ive had mine fitted yesterday and took it over the Moorlands from Stoke to Sheffield, and loved it, definalty alot more planted and feels i can take corners quicker more confidently.

Then again ive had solid top mounts fitted at the same time with the KTEC coilovers i already had on so overall its just amazing to drive now.

Just rying to fit mine and there is so much tension it is unreal.

Cant see why it takes 15 minutes to fit :S

Any advice? Or have I been given the wrong one?

Theres a current shortage on these in the uk as the aussies are taking it rather chill and not making them as fast as we want that.
That said i have one on order :D

Go to the whiteline website, they have a list of every stockist of whiteline products. Send an email to all of them asking if they have one. It's what I did a while back and I got hold of the only one in the country, from a Subaru tuned of all places.

Slightly firmer rear springs will have a very similar effect on the handling if you want an alternative, ultimately the only advantage of an ARB to provide extra roll resistance over just fitting firmer springs is that its not active when you do things like go over a speed bump so the ride will be less compromised.

I have slightly firmer springs and shocks but ive also been in one with a similar set up to mine and an arb and the feeling into and out of corners were night and day.

If you fitted slightly firmer again springs it would have fundamentally the same effect as adding the ARB.

So your firmer springs are like adding the ARB to standard springs, if you have your springs and add an ARB it will be similar to if you just went harder again on the springs from where you are now.

All its doing ultimately is increasing rear end roll resistance, firmer springs will do very similar.

Like I said though, on the road, ARB is more pleasant as it isnt active for things like speed bumps where both wheels move together anyway.

Dont misunderstand me, I think all cars should have a decent bladed ARB setup to allow easy fine tuning, im just saying its not the only way to increase roll resistance.

I have one... haven't had it fitted. LOVE the way my car handles on its Mark Fish set up without it to be honest. My rear springs are VERY firm though.

Might take it along to a trackday and fit in at lunch time and see differences back to back one day

If its bladed though, you can get it fitted before hand and just leave it in the softest position and then try turning it up.

But doing so on a car as well setup as yours is likely to make it slightly oversteery I would expect, but altering the roll resistance bias towards the rear.
