Was a Clio 1.8 16v
Ok, my FRST was running fine when it seemed to mis-fire so it juddered while travelling at low revs then it gradually got worse & 3 minutes later the revs r moving up and down from 600 to 2k rpm when stationary.
Swaped my ignition leads (correctly BTW), put the electrics on by turning the key 2 notchs; then i can hear rapid ticking sound like my injectors & coming from that area. It will turn over but not start when attempting turn the engine on.
A knakered idle control valve shouldnt stop u starting the car by pressing the gas should it?
Need HELP. Towing it to a garage tomorrow... Help much appricated.
