FAO NASA scientists (clio head unit) bodge

hello techy people...

i have the original head unit from a 02plate clio authentique...and my old landrover doesnt have a head-unit...

i was gonna bodge this into my machine...but (and ive not looked at the loom on the back of the head unit yet)

does anyone know the colours of the wires ie..live and the speakers..(think thats all i need)...will the rest be fine hanging loose?

could this work? i know the code for the head unit...BUT i cant rem if the headunit has the screen on the front or uses one on the dash...if its the later then im buggered...

Hmmm im not sure, wouldnt you need the clio remote on the steering wheel as that has to be used to enter the security code.

it's on the hu on the authentique tape decks

You can use the hu to put the code in.

thats what i originally thought, as it was a tape deck one....and i was sure it had a wee screen, unlike the 182..

any one know anything about the wire colours?

should be same wiring if its a landrover older than 2001

its a 1978..so its a bare minimum...red/black wire set up..
