any idea wot sort of probs i would come across edd?
BenR was answering some questions about this reciently he sais it wasnt worht it new Clios have ABS and EBD and other stuuf I forget what there called.
He said that the ABS would mess up and go 50/50 braking with rear disks causing you some massive problems.
If your going to disconnect the ABS it would simplify things but its goingt o lead to rouble in my opinion.
The 80hp dci sports (what we call dynamics) last septemer with disks at the back but none seems to be 100% sure what the proiblems are with doingt he work. Maybe there is no trouble the ABS etc would understand and that the rear brakes now being stronger and would regualte them with less pressure. But the only way to foind out it to do the chnge yourself ythe work might not be to difficult if you can find a 172/ cup rear axle which has crashed as I wouldnt imagime anyhting else is different.
The only new shapped front clios with diska at the back are the 172 and cups even the 1.6 over near in new shae has disks.
The 1.6 and 1.4 an 1.2 and dci (all of them new shape ones) all share the same brakes so if the brakes are deemed good enough for a 110hp car there good enough for mine at 70hp.
