FAO people with non gen steering wheels (airbag related)

I've fitted some 3.9 ohm resistors which initially knocked the light out no problem, however now it seems to intermittantly come one and off. It isn't flickering nor is a dodgy connection as they were secured carefully in the connector. Sometimes when you start the car it's on, others it isn't. I would be interested to know what value resistors people are running and what success with keeping the light off you've had.

It's attached to a car so I guess you could say that ;)
The resistors are fitted into the two plastic plug connectors that are on the horn/slip ring. I ran a couple of passes round them with loom tape once they were securely pushed into the plug connector so trust me they're going nowhere.

they bent over properly etc? What about the seat connectors?, it brings on the same fault lights?

Not sure I follow on the "bent over properly" part? Seat connectors should be fine as the OE seats are back in and have been for some time. I will take a look and check they are secure as the wheel was fitted at the same time as the now removed buckets.

sorry, you have them in proper connectors? I just doubled the ends over and sat them in the connectors then wound some tape round it (pikey way lol). Hmmm not much else i can think of other than checking pre-tentioner connectors, and seat connectors also.

The red one is x 1 resistor and fuse for the airbag. Unfortuantley you need 2!!!! Dont get 2 with a momo boss kit for some reason? The black one i have no idea though?

Good read that mate thanks, tbh makes me think why is nothing ever straight forward, lol
Would it not be worth me ringing were i got my boss kit from and telling them i need another resistor as they only sent one or that i didnt get on in the box?

The kits don't come with them, well momo don't, and now appears OMP dont? Best bet is just nip to maplins and get another resistor? About 20p iirc
