I had a 172 FF - it was fully spec'd with all options available (except sat nav, was that an option), therefore ff rather than FF.

What about a 172, powered by a 182 engine, with both 182 cup packs fitted?
ff came without sat nav, FF came with sat nav.

Hence 172=172FF
They are both different versions of the 172. If I come on here and say I've bought a 172 people will ask if it's a cup or not. By saying 172ff people know what I've bought.
