I agree with an earlier post, that it removes confusion when talking about 172s.

We call a dashboard a dashboard, but it's correct name is the front facia, but calling it that would confuse.
If calling it a FF pleases people, then so be it IMO.

You find me a 172 earleier than july 2003 with Cruise control and I'll eat my hat.

I know this because that was when I bought mine. It DIDN'T have cruise specced in the list when I ordered it. I waited several months for it to be built and they added Cruise in between.

The only options when i bought mine were CD changer and Sat nav.

i always thought that the FF was for a normal 182 with aircon, leather, etc etc. Surely u can get a 182 cup (cup packed) without aircon/leather - which wouldn't be an "full fat"

LOL i've never heard of a 172 with cup packs, more that i've never seen a cup packed 172 for sale.

Full Fat doesn't include xenons or cc or ac or cruise as non cup packed clios come with all the xenons etc etc, it stipulates the difference between a standard 182 and one with cup packs.

Now how hard is that to undstand?

Well no-one ever called a 172 a "172 FF" before the 182 cup packed came out.

It's your thread too FFs.

I've got an idea, why don't you talk to admin and ask them to ban anyone who uses the FF term outside of your personal rules.
And while you're at it, they could ban people who create threads for petty silly subjects or for people who can't spell.
