Figured out whats wrong with car

R

Rachel Anne

The cv joint came loose, leaking grease everywhwere, sat for five weeks at repair centre, noisy clonk coming from left hand side of car!?
:S bodged some grease back in, zip tied it back together! still clonking,

went to see my dads mate tonight, who repairs cars for a living, said it wasn't cv joint or drive shaft related!
but the engine mount moving, ( and it is that now) if its worn? how much am i looking at to getting a new one?

Try Euro Car Parts i swear by them, if not, scour the internet, mounts are really common faults on these i think mines could possibly be away, if so im gonna replace them all.

could be dog-bone, but have a look at the rubber buffers on the top mount on drivers side. Should be fairly obvious if the blocks are worn

Sorted. I checked it over with Rach's dad. After lots of pondering noticed there was slight movement at the top gearbox mount. The 2 nyloc nuts holding the rubber had worked themselves loose. Tightened em up job done! Free fix :)
