Finally fitted my polished, BenR'd inlet

I kicked off around 6pm, 'It won't be too hard' I thought. The strip down began and within 20 minutes I had the strut brace off, coils off and the plenum on the deck. I replaced the plugs while I was there then set on with the inlet. What a b*****d of a job. Bolts hidden everywhere.

Anyway, after 4.5 hours of knuckle grazing, head scratching and generally trying to figure out ways around removing the whole left side of the engine, I'm finished.

1 piss poor picture below.

The difference is definately noticeable with the car having much more urgency and it actually seems to sound better.

looks good !!!! does ben do them like that polished ?
No mate. I bought the inlet and plenum on here then had the polishing done seperately. The finish isn't the best to be honest but I drive the girls version with the engine cover so I'm ok.

I wouldn't want to remove the cover to be honest as the polishing isn't that neat around the inlet tracts. I could finish it off but there's no need.
