is it worth stripping the rear or not, will i notice a difference

I have removed the rear seats and bench rest from mine and it has made a bit of a difference. Going to leave all the trim in as i think that the rattles would be unbearable without it. And when all said and done apart from the rear seats, spare, and bench the rest of the stuff wont weigh more than 20kg.

Buckets are an awesome mod.

After a few months try driving another clio with normal seats - you feel like you are sitting on the roof!

that looks awesome mate!
personally i would have 2 because i like things to be symetrical, however it looks good with just one.

depends on the money, if you have it to burn then why not, but just remember you will probably have passengers moaning!

any pics of the car itself?

the only problem is, I sometimes take my friends in my car so how would they gain access to the rear seats. I would have to put one seat as far forward as possible and the other as far back and they would have to climb through the middle which isnt very practical :p

mini-valver

Yeah but they do give you more sace to get in. I'll be getting some of these when I can afford, love em! How big are you? Ie waist/height as I don't now if I'd need the XL version. Im 6ft, 13 1/2 stone and a 32-34" waist.....

what did the insurance say when you removed the seat (taking out the airbag?)

looks really well - get another one and avoid ferrying mates around ;)

the insurance compnay didnt seem to mind...

i'm 6ft 1 and i have waist 32-34. I bought it off ebay so had no choice on the xl size but it is still a quite snug fitment> if i was you mini-valver i would sit in a standard size one to see if you need to buy the more expensive xl version
