First service

Hi all, just purchased my 172 Cup! Needs a service but wanted to pick some peoples brains on here. Overall car seems to run really well. No problems. Cambelt was done in '08 on 21k now on 51k. (did have to change a tail light bulb on day 1 though lol) Anyway, pulling away it whines in first, like the sound when cars reverse. Doesn't struggle clunk or anything just whines, any ideas? Also, got the infamous very light engine ticking after a long drive, initially I thought dephaser but it runs perfectly. Surely this would affect the running?

So option A)12k service and mechanical check over, B)Full cambelt.aux and dephaser or C) Basic service (i.e. fluids etc) just to see what changes it'l make to noises etc

If I was you I'd be doing A + C, plus the aux kit doing - but if the dephaser is deemed to be faulty on inspection do the full cam kit and dephaser part as well.
