Fish Tank in clio

Has anyone had to treansport a large fish tank in a clio?

I need to get something like this :

In the back

Problem is, the one im getting is identical, bar the fact the lid is attatched via the sides!

Tank its self measures 3 foot long, and its about 4 foor tall so I think I have no chance...

i used to play drums, and could fit a drum kit in my 172, so that should be possible, just make sure you secure it so the glass doesn't smash! failing that buy a fish bowl

By reading the OP title, I thought it was something out of Pimp My Ride! Oops!

Cant you collapse it down? (All bar the glass)??

If not good luck.

You can take the tank out as it slides out the back, but there are sides attatched which hold the canopy on the top. I am collecting it late tomorrow night so will have to take my tools to see if it can be dismantled, but I doubt it can. May be lucky.

Im going to try and take the bottom of the back seat out, as when its flipped against the front seats, I could gain about 6 inches by taking that out.

Its the parcel shelf brackets that seem to be the biggest problem but dont want to faff about taking all the trim off if its not going to go in at all

your'e all crazy for even considering moving stuff in your 172s etc i dont like having passengers in the rear never mind big clumps of wood to scratch plastics etc ive never folded my rear seats down and never will thats prob why all cars ive sold on have been immaculate inside out but thats just me i suppose lol

If i went to view a car and it wasnt clean or showed signs of skip runs and lack of love id walk

Do you own a Clio or a Lambo?

Some of us h'actually have to use our cars you know. Doesn't mean they aren't looked after.

If it's fitted together like the one you show below then I would hazard a guess that you will be able to take this apart and flat pack it. Will most likely be held together by lock screws.....if not good luck...

Thats more like it actually! See what I mean about the sides being a pain!
