Fitted ITG Maxogen Kit to 172

[172 Exclusive]

Having just purchased my 172 Exclusive a few days ago, I decided to transfer my ITG maxogen filter to the172 from my Old 206CC..

Oh my God, wot a difference in throttle response...

Yes the Mods have started and the Bank balance is Dropping rapidly!!

A lot of the XPower MG forum people have these fitted to their cars and really rate them. I dont understand how enough air gets through as it looks like it gets really narrow, but you cant argue with happy customers

I tested mine on my 2litre 206CC.. It gave an increase of 6bhp right across the range and a torque increase of 4 lbft..

The ITG panel filter showed an increase of 3bhp and 3 lbft..

So value for money makes the £33 panel the winner.. The £330 for the ITG kit a bit of a loser..

But the Carbon Fibre box looks damned Sexy under the body!!!

But then again I didnt pay a bean for the ITG item.. Donated by them in return for some independant Rolling Road Figures
