Over the weekend I fitted a panel filter to my 05 182. After fitting I would say there is no real difference in the performance of the car.
The only difference noticable I would say is a slightly deeper induction growl between 3-4k rpm and sharper throttle response at high rpm in 4th and 5th gear (tested on a private runway yesterday). The car seems much more eager than it did before above 120mph.
All in all not bad for a fiver of steve 172-250 off here and £4 for a bottle of filter oil. Same price as a standard one!
