Fitting a Dynamique Spoiler

awrite guys, getting a Dynamique spoiler for my 1.2 16V and trying to get the old piece of sh*t plastic off first just to check before i buy it. i took the 2 screws out at each side and then the 2 in the middle and it feels like somthing else is holding it on, ive looked for clips and other screws but cant find anything. i know a couple of guys here have done it. how does it come off, just pull hard?

also how does the brake light and windscreen washer connect to it?

you have two screws on each side, and the two sloped ones into plastic washers in the middle.

when all the screws are off the spoiler has two plastic lugs that press into the roof, as such you need to pull it off hard.

the brake light is attached via two machine bolts, so it is a case of removing the two bolts and there is an electrical plug that needs to be pulled out. the washer is simply pushed into place with a pipe pushed onto the back of it, so a matter of pulling it out.

Surely if you have a 1.2 16v then you already have a dynamique/172 spoiler

as middo says thats all you do, done it many times with short spoilers and the longer 172 style ones

Same as my old one- there is a couple of red plastic clips holding it in- you just need to tug at it!
They may break off but once its screwed in it doent go nowhere

Also the brake light switch just needs unclipping and the screen wash tube, just yank at it and it,ll come off.

hydeyho, its not a Dynamique its an expression.

cheers guys for the tips, i was scared to pull at it incase it broke off as i dont have the new spoiler yet
