Fitting alloys from 1.4 16V to 172 Cup

Anybody know whether 185/55/15 alloys & tyres from a Clio 1.4 16V will fit a 172 Cup. I guess clearance of brake calliper and suspension/inner wheel well is the main issue. I’m not bothered about any effects on the speedometer. Not sure of offsets?

Planning to fit track day tyres to the Turinis and fit something different for road use (which is basically travelling the 2 hour drive to the nearest track because it's the only reason I bought the car).

ah kl mate. ive saw 172 cups with 15" oz f1's on so should be fine but i cant comment on weather there will be enough clearance from the brakes

Id be more tempted to buy a set of OZ F1s or similar in a 15inch, for track wheels.

15s are generally better, also cheaper tyres ect.

MarkCup on here rolls on dynamique wheels from time to time iirc

depends which 1.4 16v the alloys are from, mk2 ph1's have 14 inch wheels....
