Fitting New Head Unit

  1992 Mini City
Hi, i'm planning to fit a new head unit (and speakers, but thats not the problem), and i was wondering about a few things.

Firstly, what happens to the stalk behind the steering wheel on the right (the volume/scroll song control), can you hook it up so you can still use it?

Also, does the standard screen just sit there, unused, or does it still display time/temp, just not the song info?

Oh, and is this a good head unit? Im thinking it seems a bit cheap. If not, any suggestions?

You need the adapters for the stalks / screens to work.

Halfords do sell them, aswell as car audio direct - do a search.

And yes, its Pioneer so it will be fine.

I've gone for an Alpine CDE-103BT. Works a treat. Has full Ipod connectivity with searchable playlists, albums etc AND a parrot bluetooth kit built in. Bloody amazin.

Also you can change the colour of the buttons to match the interior lights LOL.
