Fitting of ITG Panel Filter?

Hi, just bought the following ITG panel filter for my Clio Mk3 1.2 TCE 100 Turbo Dynamique SX...

However, I'm having trouble unclipping the airbox to change over the filters. The airbox has two clips at the top of it which seem to be the only thing securing the lid on, but they don't seem to budge at all in any direction, not sure if I'm trying to undo the wrong thing? :S

I understand the filter and airbox is the same as the one on the 197, anyone fitted one of this car or a 197 before and can offer any advice?

Its just the 2 clips and it pulls out towards you, its like a tray device on my 138

Flat bladed screw driver should do it.

Thanks for uploading the pic gtvlew saved me having to take one... I've tried prising these clips out but they don't seem to budge at all. Which way should I actually be pushing them (in the direction of the arrow- towards the centre of the box?)

Im having the same prob mate lol i eventualy gave up, was only trying to se the filter so i knew if it was same as the 197s...Gonna give it a bash at the weekend though as ill hopefully weather being good and all give the cars its first proper clean

Tryed it there when i got home with no luck and by the looks of it someones atempted it before as the left hand clip bit is snapped off at one side :|

Ok so i eventualy got it off mate having the broken clip helped alot just pulled that right back untill i could pull one side out then the other came out with a small puch on the clip.

You couldent do me a favour and measure the size of the ITG filter ??

Got mine off no probs earlier aswell. Some must be tighter than others....

Let us know if you can notice much differance once it's in!

Think mine came today but have to collect it at post office, i will be able to tell you if ut boost performance at all come saturday at the Scottish Rolling Road day

I got mine fitted eventually, just the clips on mine were really stiff and difficult to open. Haven't noticed any difference as yet, only taken it out on a handful of short journeys so far though. Will be interesting to see if it makes any bhp difference at all..

Fitted mine while at work and took it for a jont down some fast roads ( 50 to 70 mph stretches ) and to be honest theres no noticible diffrence apart from maybe a lil more poke and a we bit more noise at high revs but all will be told on Saturday

i very much dout you will notice any diffrence
but it will help the engine breath easyer

Well i fitted mine on Wednesday and ran it at the RR Day car pushed out 112.2Hp so 1.2hp over stock witch i cant see as being the filter....As its not been run in that long could be a reason for no noticible increase but to be honest i cant see it uping the Hp figure at all
