Fitting "other" recaros??

Has anyone gone about this?

I don't mean tredlines, I mean the like of Escort Cossie recaros or similar??

I want to fit a set to mine. Whilst I know I will have to mess about with subframes, is this do-able? I don't care if I lose the height adjustment, but want to be able to slide the base backwards and forwards.

People fit them from Hondas / evos yes iirc

I know it's an old thread, but I have a similar question for my mk3.

What would be involve in fitting the recaros from another car (accord, vectra, etc), to my own car?

I'm gonna be attempting this.. I believe you need the correct subframes which can be supplied by Demon Tweeks. That's all I know..
