Surely if I have paid my road tax but choose not to drive my car or park my car on public roads I should be entitled to ?

Oh no, I agree it's a pretty stupid law but I was just asking how you were planning on getting around it, since they can still check the MID and stuff like that to tell if a car is taxed and insured.

Surely it would make more sense to just sorn it and get the money back for the remaining months if you don't plan on using it though? It's as easy to get tax on a car these days as it is to insure it if you ever needed to drive the car

I know mate. Like I said though for the two months remaining I will let it run out then sorn it. I can always used trade plates should I need to drive it to get tax.

Looks like your in the right place to ask. Last person I asked had fitted them in the rubber as usual and made a bracket up to hold them up at the bottom of the window...

I may be wrong though.
