Fitting rear strut brace

Car  182 cup
Considdering getting a rear brace, had a look in the car today and had a look at the mounting points. I have VMAXX fitted and there only appears to be about 10mm of thread showing ontop of the damper.

Is this enought to mount the brace then tighten the nut back on?

Has anyone got any close up pics of how the brace is mounted??

Cheers in advance!!!

Be interested to see replys mate. I know more cosmetic, as rear arb is meant to be best for handling, but like the look..

yes, the strutbrace will only space the nut around 2-3mm

i might be able to take some pics tomorrow, i need to have a fiddle with mine

cosmetic only tbh. but if you like it, do it! you will only really need about 3mm thread as thats how thick the metal is think of it like a washer!
