T The Fatty Car AB182, Audi A5 3.0 Mar 10, 2006 #4 very easy, its plug and play, the loom/connectors are already there, you simple remove old, replace with new

T The Fatty Car AB182, Audi A5 3.0 Mar 10, 2006 #6 no its there (well it is in my 1.2), to see if it is, just remove the top bit of dash, and look for connectors not connected to anything lol. they do this as its cheaper to make a basic loom, rarther than get 3 different ones made up...

S steve740 May 24, 2006 #11 get the dash from a 1.4 with a rev counter, and put it in yours. Is that possible?
S steve740 May 24, 2006 #12 sorry m8. got confused there. thought you were talking bout a mk1!!! Sorry
Gareth Car Turbo'd MX-5 MK4 May 24, 2006 #14 if the looms not there mate then it isn't going to be easy. Mileage is stored on each dialset to, not the ECU.
