Fitting Renault Factory Rev counter

  GOLF GT TDI
how difficult is it to fit the renault factory dials with built in rev counter to a clio that does not have them as standard?

  AB182, Audi A5 3.0
very easy, its plug and play, the loom/connectors are already there, you simple remove old, replace with new ;)

no its there (well it is in my 1.2), to see if it is, just remove the top bit of dash, and look for connectors not connected to anything lol.

they do this as its cheaper to make a basic loom, rarther than get 3 different ones made up...

But surly it would have been cheaper to have all dashes with rev counters rather than having 3 different sorts of dials :S

i took the dash to yesterday to fit my new tweeters while i had it off i looked to see the the loom was there for the rev counter but there aint :(

if the looms not there mate then it isn't going to be easy. Mileage is stored on each dialset to, not the ECU.

i know someone who can do the milage so thats not the hard bit, just wondering if i am able to wire the rev counter on to it
