FITTING TWIN EXHAUST ON 172 PH1

Hey guys, just wanted to know if it was possible to fit twin exhaust conversion on a phase 1 172.

I am looking at buying a 182 bumper which has got 2 holes cut for twin exhaust.

Yes, k-tec do one, or get a custom one made at places like prospeed.

you will also need to cut the spare wheel well out, and replace it with a flat panel or a 182 boot floor.

No he won't , the custom ones are built around it.

Got his done at Prospeed in Cardiff as well. Rough cost is £300.

My old Ph1 before I reverted to standard rear:

The tailpipes sat perfect up until my centre section went - never got them sitting in the cut-outs properly after that...

Better to leave standard or go for a single cut-out exit matey.

Thats looks okay but its only because its a ph2 bmper, on a ph1 that would look shite!

K-tec 182 lookalike 182 exhaust does not match up with the 182 bumper holes IIRC. You would need to cut holes in your own bumper or a 172 bumper.
