Fk Coilover Group Buy

Hi All

Have spoken to Venom Motorsport today about the possiblity of a group buy of the fk coilover that k-tec sell for ?560. These shocks are obvioulsy height adjustable but have fixed damping (not adjustable).

Normally Venom sell them at ?486 but have agreed to drop the price to ?421 (although not sure if that includes postage - probably add another ?10) if we can get 9 or 10 people interested - I know I am having a set either way just thought we could all save some cash.

Please let me know asap so we can place our orders

Tim

They told me postage was included in the £486 when I spoke to Richard yesterday. Glad Ive finally been some use on here :D

£421 is a damn good price drop from £486 though!

Good luck with the group buy.

  An orange one

if these are the fixed damping ones that lower 30-70mm then count me in providing they can accept mastercard

sorry guys I have decided to go for a set of Spax RSX Gas coilovers - I know a lot of people on here may not agree with my decision but I have looked into this a lot - One of my old school mates now works for Spax and has offered me a great deal and will fit them and set them up for me. Before any of you say that they are crap as only have fixed height at the rear I do not mind that - it is still a lot lower than the eibach pro springs I have now which incidentally only lowered the car 5mm at the rear over standard not the 15mm they quote! I have been looking into the quality of the shocks and ride etc and believe the spax will be a lof less harsh than the FK and living in Cardiff that is important as the roads are w*nk!
My mate informs me that the FK shocks with ride adjusters are much better than the fixed units but they are too expensive for my liking and I believe going on what my mate says and the fact that he is going to set them up for me the Spax will handle better and last longer.
Plus at the price I am gettin them for they are a bargain.
sorry to mess you all about - I am sure Venom would be able to help any of you if you still want to sort the FK's out.

seeing as this thread has died on its arse i took the plunge and ordered my FK's today. for a 1.2 16v 2003 ive paid £455 delivered.

ordered them from an awesome bloke who runs www.2modified.com

He also does spax coilovers and H&R coilovers at the cheapest prices i could find. If anybody is still interested in a group buy let me know, as he does do group buys for other forums at silly cheap prices.

just spoken to 2modified, and he has stated that if he can get another person to order them this weekend/week then he can do you the same price of 445 for the clio 2 (including 172) or a cheaper price for the clio 1.

if your interested give me a PM

Mark

The Earlier Clios with torsion bars are cheaper, im working out a price for them :)

Will the adjustable spax kit fit the dci ? :)

What does it lower by? Front; 35-70mm Rear; 35-60mm ? :S

Yep the adjustable Spax RSX kit will fir the dci. All the Mk2 2 Clios though usuauly share 58mm hubs there only a few 1.2 who don't have it.
Best idea would be to get a kit desinged for the 1.4/1.6 dci over a universal none RS kit but the difference won't be huge.
