Though I'd best start a project thread for my new flamer. This is now my second ph1 flamer, and the second flamer i've bought off my close friend Djw John. After John had it, this car was sold to Yeecup who enjoyed it untill the belt slipped and destroyed 14 of the valves. Confirmed by SWR the cost to repair it outweighed the cost of the car so John bought it back. It all gets a little hazzy to how I now own it but in short i swapped this flamer for my silver track car (Chav). I retained the engine for this one and John could do what he pleased with the chav. It was the rapidly stripped before Johns wife noticed the missing cash from the "holiday fund".
Still with me??
Good.

It arrived a nice whole working (less the engine) car at my friends farm, it was duly stripped and the wheels sold on. I really do have too many wheels for clios and i hope i've made the right choice with the wheels, more on that later.
A few days later i had a nice running flamer. I also ruined it by putting some mismatching wheels on as i seem to do to all of my cars. I also changed my first part of the car and went back to Ph1 side strips.
I've not really done to much to it yet, the overall plan is to partially strip it and use it as a fastroad/daily/knockhill/because race car car, it wont be as stripped as chav, that got to the stage that i hated driving it, so ill be keeping the carpet in this one.
I've got a pile of bits to get doing on this one, but here's a few pics to bring everyone up to date.

Got some roof bars, hoping to be able to stick my track wheels on them??
I'm in the middle of rebuilding a set of Fk konigsports for it, but this is how it looks just now. Riding on some 15" steels and some 14" steels on the back, rocking some -60mm springs till i refurb the Fk's.
Now the wheels. I could have kept the Oz's but i didn't just want a carbon copy of my last flamer so i've decide to do somthing a little different.
Bought these
To be fitted to these, freshly done at the wheel specialist in Edinburgh.
I hope that brings everyone up to date with flamer2. Much more to come on this, but as per usual it'll be on a budget.
C+C welcome.
