Flamer Van Conversion

On to my 3rd Clio Sport 5th Clio in total
​Bought a 172 Flamer off a mate last week, clean motor with excellent history currently running

- powerflow backbox
- carbon badges and rear bumper insert
- apex 30mm springs
- 197 RS badge (in wrong place for now)

Bought the car to use for work (plumber on new builds) so Iv decided to transform in to a van with

Back seats out next in line is the back windows paneled out (on order)
Cup spoiler is in the sprayers as we speak so will upload pics when thats on and the windows are done
got the exhaust surround having it cut in when pick spoiler up

I considered the van to a sport but works out alot dearer than doing a sport to a van, you can geta a 172 for less than 2k now so its not alot more than you pay for an old astra van or anything really, Itll look cool when done and will be ideal for my situation, not planning on re-sale so should be good,

Everyone will love it when its done. Its a great idea, toyed with it myself more than a few times. Makes it worse when you can actually see Micks van.

Haha, took the carbon wrap off the diamonds today.. alot tidier, Spoke to my friend who is getting me the side panels and he seems to be having problems so going to try the second contact tomorrow, Cant wait for it to be finished even though only had car 1 week haha

it's French it came ruined from the factory, plus it's only a Clio ffs.

No one's ever made a 172 into work van, so for that reason it's a great idea.

Not sure what the fuss is all about, he's only taking the windows out and panelling them. Not like he came on here and said he was going to cut the roof off and make it a convertible!

Little update, cup spoiler will be on tomorrow night and just picked up the van panels, floor carpet and door cards!

ive had the car for 2 months give or take. but havent had free time to get things done, still to get its new wheels on and suspension

the side panels i tiger seal in. as i get that free rather than window sealer

haha the trailer. ill get to that mybe before christmas. maybe. got another needing welding finished before i can get that in to finish. not sure something different

UPDATE

Cup spoiler is now on and looking the dogs!! Painter has cracked the light in it though trying to get it out, so in need of a new one but here is the spoiler fitted and all back interior ripped out, window panels are being painted now as we speak, once they are in the van door cards and side carpets will be in, done
