Even in the lowest holes on the side mount they look like a highish driving position compared with the low mounts some people are running

Has nothing to do with seats its because of the Clio Specific OMP mounting frames. But I cant see the point of going lower just to go lower. As it is now its perfect, if i went lower I would not have a clear view over the steeringwheel. Seat position is a lot lower than stock, will need to space down the steering wheel 15mm to get the height perfect. If you go to low you will have trouble knowing where you place the car.

Pictures of seats as promissed. I went for the GRP version 7.5kgs each so weight is no reason to go for Kevlar/Carbon version, very porno though ;) Standard version will fit in a Clio 2 door wide version wount. Ears on the seat are 1-2cm from the side windows. These seats are great!

Thanks for pics, feedback mate :approve:

I have a couple of questions though.

Why are you using OMP subframes over Corbeau ones?
And do you think one standard sized revenge, and XL seat would fit ( As some passengers won't fit in the standard seat ;) )

Tempted to go for the Kevlar/ GRP over the Carbon Kevlar now, as I need as much money as poss for other modifications, and the Kevlar/ GRP version looks great too!

****Car update****

Just started stripping the back out now have removed quite a bit so far ... The car feels so much more urgent now I have a de-cat and have removed a lot of weight.

Bought the OMP's because they offer far more adjustments. Now with all facts on hand I would have been just as good of with the Corbeau ones.

If the "ears" on the XL seats are wider than on standard seats they wount fit. If its just the lower part thats wider you will be ok.

You gonna give the wheel another crack this weekend ?

I'm free on Sunday if you want to try a second attempt. I'll bring a better selection of screwdrivers this time.

Sunday morning sounds good Chris/Tim. Hopefullly it'll be dry, and we'll get the bloody air bag out this time!

Really happy with how the car drives ATM, with the smaller steering wheel, de-cat and weight loss.

Next job get the 2118s on.

Im liking that a lot was it easier to get the airbag off today with Tim's chainsaw

Finally happening now then? That steering wheel looks great! Do they do them without the blue bit at the top?

Knowsit.

Thought I looked the part today.

'Tims chainsaw' Phh its was all me. LOL

I took the wheel off which is most important part TBH

If feels like a go-kart now with the smaller wheel, and seems much more urgent. Very impressed with it this afternoon!

As I said it's running as well as ever now :)

Still slow compared to the R26 though ;)
