Yeah project thread will be up tomorrow, and coilovers will be on hopefully by next week. Just need rid of those hideous standard wheels and put it on a diet!

I found the short shift a bit notchy and didn't seem like an improvement.

I've got a modified gear linkage which halves the throw coming tomorrow or Friday so I'm hoping you and Chris can help me fit it on Saturday.

We can have a go at repairing your ghetto splitter with some fibre glass resin.

What pads were you using with the four pots?

Not sure if they do them in your fitment, but the pagid blacks get two thumbs up from me. Virtually no dust either.

I will be running DS3000/DS2500 pads. No dust from the Pagid blacks sound good mate.

Me and Tim (atouba) tried to fit them today, but failed as the bolts holding the bells and rotors need a 4.5mm hex bolt :dapprove:

Nope, but Rentech fitted them for me

I've been to the halfords branch in 3 times today Tom, the smallest half size hex bolt for ratchet is 5.5mm I need 4.5mm FFS!

The size we need is 3/16 because hex bolts appear to be imperial.

Personally I'd ask Compbrake to exchange your new bolts for metric ones or supply you with the correct hex socket for the job.

haha. The engines box clutch all seem pretty tough, shame about French electrics etc..

ATM if you press up on the drivers side electric window, the harards flash..lol perfect excuse for some polycarbonate windows I guess
