Chris very kindly gave me his ph1 gearstick yesterday (something I have been after for a while) so that's another job added to the list.

just about ready to get the belts and MoT now. hopefully get one of two trackdays in before the winter sets in.

Well overdue bath.

I can't seem to get the brake dust off the wheels, so they are going to be resprayed red, and then become my track wheels.

It did a few years back mate. I still have a lot of detailing gear so thought I would give the Clio a bath, polish, and wax.

I've got PF97 pads on mine so I think I'd have the same issue

And Gorms, I reckon a Kangoo sport would suit your (/our Le Mans) needs very nicely indeed, plus it's big enough to fit the bairn in.

Yes Mike. Well Chris and Tim gave me a hand. You just need a dremel and sharp drill bits mate.

Let me know when you're planning on doing it, and I'll pop over and give you a hand/ guidance if you like?

Sorted out my insurance. I went through Greenlight £329 fully comp, all mods declared and a SP30 :approve:


Well last Tuesday the 172 was picked up and taking to Rentech. The first time it had moved more than 5 foot in over 16 months!

New dephaser pulley
New alternator
Pure motorsport lightweight AC removal kit
Rocker cover leak fixed
Oil / filter change
Fabia splitter ( the ghetto fix CF finalled died getting on and off the low loader)
Matched upper and lower inlets fitted
New windscreen wipers

I will get some new pics up of the car/ engine bay later in the week. Next on the list, new brake pads, wheel refurb, stud kit and roll cage.
