Flickering Speedo: (Ph1 172)

I hear this is a common problem?

Easy way to diagnose/fix? It flickers like mad when you give it the beans!

Its just the speedo Cro-Clio. Any idea what this may be?

A ph1 172 uses a digital input sensor plugged into the gearbox ( JC5 089 ) it will either be the digital input sensor at fault or the internal speedo drive. Usually its the plug in input sensor.

Would you have the Renault part code for the sensor? Or is JC5 089 the part number?
