. Nearly got the gold wristband and have unlocked all perks now.
What do you lot use for the S1 class? Also in online road trip I've figured that its not all down to coming first. If you get plenty skill points you can gain a few 1000xp. I lost 2/4 last night but still came in top 3 of the championship.

I get this sometimes. Get it on Forza 5 also occasionally.

I don't remember having any sound glitches. Also for the online road trip, skill does play a big part as you said drifting passing etc etc. The best way i found is if you are going between destinations to try and get as much xp as possible and end the area of the meet still as you get bonus XP.

Yeah I get it on FM5 too but not often.
Yeah definitely building xp and doing reasonably well can still land you in 1st place. I've got loads of S1 just wondered what people use as its my favourite racing class. My alfa 4c is best rwd and escort mk1 is my best awd. The escort is really easy to build xp with.

When I played this when it first came out I created an Imperial Blue Escort Cosworth with white 19" Compomotive alloys. It looked so good, and sounded incredible after I'd spent a f*cking fortune tuning it. No idea how, but @AK could simply create a Honda Jazz and smash me every which way but sideways no matter how much I tuned it. C*nt. I then built a Nissan GTR and tuned that up. Now that was bloody incredible.
Might get back on this at some point, as I still think it's graphically the best game on the XBox One. The lighting and details are unreal, especially when it rains on the air-strip.

The rain is crazy, and when it does rain its a little bit more slippery
How does the car club work? I'm a member but don't see a point to it other than comparing stats/xp which is a bit s**t.
Assumed there would be online club events/road trips and you'd know who's online and meet for a free drive etc etc

Forgot how good game looks.... It's sexual! The effects are stunning, nighttime lighting is amazing especially combine with rain, oooooooo

Me too, annoyed that it was in both FM5 and FH2, you'd expect one maybe but not two.
You get more XP in online events and you get a bonus every time you go up a tier. I dont see anything about joining people in the car club, only comparing stats. Im sure there was a feature on the original horizon that you could join car club members

I was using a Aston Martin Vanquish 12 as my S1 on an online road trip last night, have to say it was quality. The problem was the person controlling it haha also really like the Ford RS200 as an S1

Yeah. That's what I thought. Think they missed a trick there. Could have done a lot more socially with the club online. Even club vs club races etc. Or if you go on online free roam all club members are in same world/server.
Does anyone actually play this in 3rd person view? With automatic gears? With assists on? [emoji14]
I usually drive in car. Open wheeled cars like xbow, are amazing in car view. You can see all suspension components moving. [emoji5] Drive using bonnet view sometimes for a change.

Assists are sometimes required on some lairy tuned cars in FM5, but this is so much more forgiving so assists aren't really required. Plus its a lot more fun with assists off! [emoji106]
Manual is a must though.

All assists off manual w clutch easier to slide also 3rd person view, so you get to see everything especially when the race goes off road

I remember when we all discovered how much better Forza was using the clutch! Good old days! Map it to A instead of LB, jobs a goodun.
Yeah. I've only just actually started using clutch too. Was LB which was awkward but switched to A and it's fine now. I do switch to 3rd P for some off road.
Can you pull off smoothly from a stand still? Unless I'm doing a racing start, I can't pull off without it being jerky. I know this sounds a daft question in a racing game.
I hold clutch in, release with low revs and I jerks off the line. Unless I'm up in high revs/racing start I can't pull away without jerking. Any tips? Or just always do a racing start?
Yeah once you are used to it the game is improved no end imo. Used to have a lot of fun back when FM4 came out lol.
To the above I just go full throttle and let of the accelerator a bit then back full throttle to help stop the wheels spinning. 4wd I just go flat out.
You used to piss on everyone in a straight line in the same cars till you told us all about it, lol.

I go full revs and then let off to do a slow start. i have noticed on this game more than the other forza's that sometimes it takes, on some cars, longer to start actually going?? It also dropped revs as soon as you start so hit clutch and rev it then it is fine. any ideas?

Yeah some 4wd cars stall out for me so you have to get the revs back again. Best way to get past that is to steer left or right and then straighten up as soon as you launch.
This game seriously sends me into a rage sometimes though. Some bellend last night smashed me off track when I was in first ended up falling through the map and came last and lost my top spot off the championship. Wanted to punch the tv.

Thats what I thought. Nowhere will do it, both Morrisons and Asda said No as it could have been bought anywhere. It still has the security seal on it and everything. I don't even want any money, just an exchange.

Who'd have though a classic mini converted to rwd with 450bhp would be hard to control in the wet?!
