Found out why my window rattles / drops... fixes?

For the last few weeks Ive noticed if I have my window fully down there is a rattle, the same if I have the window far down but not all the way. I removed the door card today to find what it was.

It seems the bare metal support bar in the middle of the large cut out that guides the window down in the door is at fault, In the second picture you can see the top support mount has cracked away at the bracket.

The only solution I can see is to drive to a welders (dont know of any currently) and ask them to weld a spot where its cracked? That or get a new mount but it looks difficult to change?

Right I've found the guide, read through it briefly.

Anyone done this recently? just wondering how fiddly it is. If I could find someone with a duff regulator set can the metal mount come away from the cabling?

Does anyone know if a regulator from a 1.2 will fit my 182?

Easier just to change the full thing mate, I tryed just replacing the metal beam and ended up cogging the wiring inside the regulator, probably was me being cack handed but the full regulator and runner beam only cost me £25 from a scrappy, take 5 mins to change
