Front N/S wheels rubbing on something in arch

It's like a solid bump in the wheel arch at the back (near engine area) that's sticking out, can't describe it well without pics but if you have a very low car you'll know what I'm talking about.

Is there any way of making this not stick out and hence not rub on my wheels?

rip the arch liners out mate. dont really need them tbh

The liners are out, it's a solid metal part seperating the wheel from the engine bay. I'll get pics later if needed!
