Front Washer Jets.

Morning all..

Firstly thanks for your help on this in advance.

Got my Clio a couple days ago, to say im really pleased with it is a bit of an understatement.

Firstly just want to check how to operate the front windscreen washers. In previous cars you pull the right hand stalk towards you.

But in this one i have to turn the end piece on the right hand stalk. Is this normal? Or has someone wired up the wrong tubes? Oh and the Rear washers do not work.

It sounds like someone Has changed the pipes over so the headlight washers are on the rear wiper pump location, there are two pumps, one for front + rear washers and the outher for the headlights.

Leejordan cheers for the quick response.. Im gonna get out there over the weekend and have a proper look. I did think I should be pulling the stalk for the fronts lool.

Yep, feeds will be on the wrong way around

The headlight washers should kick in about 2 seconds after holding the stalk back just after the front washer, just have to check thatthe pipes are on the correct pump as there are two.
Its not bad to get to just wipers off, scuttle panel off, then wiper mechanism but you might be able to get to it without taking the wiper mechanism off, theres plenty of good guides on here on how to get to it

Might be able to swap the connectors over to save pissing around with it. Worth a shot.
