Front wheel wobble (when on axel stands) Possible front wheel bearing?

  Trafic 140dci
Ok, bit pee'd off to say the least as Nurburgring is 2 weeks away, changing my wheels today i noticed that the whole wheel/brake disk wobbles. Could this be the wheel bearings?

Everything is tight, i checked driveshaft, brake disk, spacer, hub to coilovers and they are all tight.

I also had crazy bad tyre wear on the inside edge of my old wheel, as if i was running huge negative camber.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I had that wear and it was a bent shock, sorry. :dapprove:

What way did you wobble it 12-6 or 3-9?
I doubt the shock is likely to be bent, it's on maximum negative camber anyway so i expect a bit of high wear, but the wheel is wobbling 12-6, so that would make it worse, didn't even try 3-9 tbh.

12-6 movement could be the ball joint, I'd be very surprised if there was a lot of movement but you couldn't hear any sign of a wheel bearing?

never noticed anything last time i drove the car, but my exhaust is 103db at 5k, so you don't hear alot else when going along.

Play top to bottom or side to side?

Sounds like track rod end.

I'd replace both track rod ends and both ball joints at the same time, will cost about £35-40 for parts.

Checked top mounts are tight?

Is it safe to drive? Need to do 30 miles in it Saturday to my mates workshop, but would mean he could get it on a ramp and look properly...

He'd feel the inner one going along about 30-40. Outer on go round a roundabout at about 30-40 and let off, you'll feel it knocking if it is.

I've got spare driveshafts if you need to borrow one. Which side?

Checked spacer bolts?

Yes took it off infact, but was tight.

CV Joint mate? We had the same issue at Donny and needed a new driveshaft

No idea what it is or how it works lol, drive shaft is solid and doesn't move.

Felt fine driving tbh, i'll let you know on that one, you about Saturday afternoon/evening? Will call you while it's on ramps, my mate will soon diagnose it :)
