Fuel Injector upgrade help?

Car  Clio Mk1 Ph3
This might be a bit of a noob question, but bear with me please.

Would uprating my fuel injectors from a 1.2 to a 1.4 or even 1.8 make a difference power wise? And would the ECU and MAF sensor need upgrading if I where to change them?

wouldnt make any difference on a standard car as your injectors can already put in as much fuel that is needed. might need a remap but theres no points as they would only do the same job

agreed mate wont make a difference,go with gettingthe air in and out faster then a re map to match the fuel to the new amount of air your getting in and out, your injectors should be man enough easily, its quite rare to uprate them in a relitivly std engine

Right I see what you mean. I was under the impression that the more fuel you can pack in to the engine per stroke the bigger the bang = more power?!

I've just had thought also, whats the best air:fuel ratio? Lets say I did change the injectors to pack in more fuel, would an increase of air be needed?

the volume taken up has no effect by changing injectors therfore you cannot 'overfill' the chamber by more.
There may be a marginal timing benefit as you would fill the area quicker but the engine is not setup to capitalise from this. Alos, it is my belief (poss old wives tale) that the injection process does not make a car faster but makes it significantly more efficient.
