Fuel line clio to fuel rail

  BG Clio 182
Another thread revival!

Hi all, had an issue over the weekend...

I seem to have caught the fuel rail on the cambelt and it's rubbed away on it so now it's spraying all over the engine bay so I clearly need a new pipe.

Thanks to sbanc above for posting his own part but he's overseas so it'll cost a bomb to ship!

Does anyone know where I can source one of these from? I've tried messaging people on eBay with no reply on breaking cars but id prefer a new one anyway.

Quite a few on eBay for 1.2s but I'm assuming they don't fit?

If anyone knows anywhere I can buy the fuel line from it'd be appreciated!

Thanks

Alex

SOLVED

part arrived and it was the right one.

Fit great and even has a bit of a braided coating over the part that goes over the cambelt.

I have put a little cable tie on the top to stop it happening again. I doubt the heat will melt that and I won't need to do this again.

Underneath chasing that connector over was a right pain, it the push tabs didn't help too much. Some proper Welly is needed and I didn't feel comfortable doing it as I was concerned id mess up the rubber seals inside but all seems good now.

Only did a quick jaunt up and down the road but 3 miles in and no more petrol stench or the pipe touching the cambelt.

I will add though that no replacement clips that run along the chassis leg were provided. Need to reuse the old ones.

How much did the pipe cost ?

As I took it soon myself to come up with an alternative fix on mine .
I make these .
