fuel rail cover removing

im looking at geting my fuel rail guard polished just wondering what it does ie could i drive without it for a fiew days and dus it just bolt of nuthing major ect?

Yes you can drive around with it just don't hit anything as it does what is says protects the fuel rail.
If you hit anything switch the ignition off just incase

mine constantly sheers the two bolts now on my fourth set

what do you mean by shears the bolts do you mean the long ones behind it? if so how would you shear them?

Yes the two that go through it to the engine block. haven't a clue how it managed to do as the block itself is directly bolted to the engine. Can't see how it does it but it does first you know about it is a rattling that sounds like it coming from under the car (when your sat in it) then low and behold the block is loose and the two bolts have sheered again.......

Probably worth checking your engine mounts then chap! As something is putting a load on the rail guard!
