C-VXR, T8 Map 220BHP
I have developed a funny buzz in my 172. The sort of sound I would say sounds like a metal washer or something similar vibrating.
The sounds happens from 3k – 3.3k rev range in each gear which suggests it is a vibration based on the frequency of the engine revs.
I have had it for about a month now. The sound has not changed or lengthened in anyway.
I’m sure its nothing serious, and I have checked all the visible areas under the bonnet. Any other suggestions on where it could be coming from? Or what it is.
Had my cambelt changed in January but had done 3k and that was 4 months ago so very much doubt its anything to do with that.
