lookin to get a new clifford alarm cos my one is simply crap!

so, which clifford alarm is the best one? there is loads of different ones on their site but no prices or comparisons or anything: http://www.clifford.co.ukwww.clifford.co.uk

i want one that i can buy loads of add-ons for at a later date (remote start, pager system, etc...). also, does any1 no any prices?

Ill dig out a car alarm website for you later for you with prices and accessories on, a guy on here had a clifford fitted by the company and was pleased with it, prices were quite good. At the time, couple of months ago, I think best Thatcham approved alarm they did (G5) was the 850.

Clifford have loads of new alarms with all the bells and whistles that arent actually thatcham approved and the reason for that is that the some of the bells and whistles, thatcham dont like and dont want to approve. So if you got a G5 concept 500 and added on all the bells and whistles, then theoreticaly you could make yourself a clifford alarm which is thatcham approved but still has all of the unapproved add-ons, which are actually not that great anyway. Remote start is the only one id ever consider and thats only because i dislike the feel of cold steering wheels, cold gear knobs, and well a cold me.

The early G5s werent Thatcham approved.. the later ones are.. (there are two variations now.. 650 and another one.. 950 or something I think).
