Genuine roof bar fitting?

Hi

How do you fit roof bars into the Clio 182? I see there's 2 small arrows in the glass on the rear indicating the bar goes there, but I've read a plastic strip needs to come off?

Does anyone have a guide? Many thanks!

I think the factory bars are based on the Thule products - or vice versa, arrows are to locate bars on roof as presumed, there will be some form of arrows/indents on the front too, heres the Thule guide fyi:
