Girlfriends and cars, a tale with an obvious outcome!!

Ive been letting my new girlfriend drive my car as my generosity is rewarded with certain acts, she came home last night and asked if the black thing on the front of my car is supposed to be in two pieces!! i said no.. she said well it is now!!

I'll be honest i couldnt care less about the splitter and the good news is she has alot of making up to do my new clio turns up in 2/3months and shes buying my old clio so shes only mashing up her own car in theory.

Anyone else have similar lady related car issues?

My girlfriend bought my first Clio off me (1.2 extreme 2 y0). Its now ruined. Never gets cleaned, s**t tip, curbed wheels and she has the dogs in.

I let her have a go in the 200 whilst we was in Wales last month (but only in first gear whilst we was on the beach, so no chance of hitting anything).

But a large chance of it ending up in the SEA ! It's the big wet thing you normally find at the beach... you can't miss it.

Cant wait to pick up the new car the drive back from CDG is guna be sweet as!! after this there is no way shes driving my new car she was saying oh but the black bits just for protection surely.. sigh doesnt mean you need to rip it off every time you park!!

Had all four wheels refurbed on my old BMW prior to putting it up for sale. Wife drove it once about a week after and curbed both N/S wheels.

Gave me grey hair but couldn't really say no as all the financial stuff was in her name. Never put a mark on it though to be fair to her. I wrote it off a couple of years later.

So I bit the bullet and started down the dark path of hot hatches.

Me and the girlfriend have just done these things:

1) Moved in together to a city centre location
2) She gave her car (2004 1.2 16v Corsa SXi) to her younger sister
3) We now share a 172.

She's going to crash it, I can tell or kerb the s**t out of the absolutely pristine alloys. Also I caught her slipping the clutch the other day, gave her a massive bollocking. This may not end well.

She can drive, we went go-karting and after 45mins our fastest lap times were within a second of eachother and i certainly wasnt holding anything back!! i was impressed tbh.. she just cant park for sh*t

Mine has raced my up the 1/4 mile and was fine never on track tho. She did have to lend it for a week which I was nervous about as it has r888s and it rained a lot that week

A few years back my Mrs came home to tell me she thought she'd caught a wheel on my old scooby.

When I went to look at it, the bumper was smashed, indicator missing, headlight cracked and sidelight broken.

To be fair, I wanted the bumper sprayed due to a few previous scrapes and I wanted crystal sidelights and indicators and she paid for the lot so I did quite well out of it in the end.

What is this "sea" that you speak of?? Tbf, the beach was massive and she drove about 50metres and then reversed back. No drama.

i insured my mrs on my ph2 172 the day she passed her test at 17, she cut about in it for 4 or 5 months before we bought the 1.6 16v for her! she was fine, knew id kill her if she marked or kerbed it.

she can drive the ph1 properly too, blips on down shifts too just need to learn her heel and toe!

When I had my 182, my g/f had a 172. Now we both have 200's Mine is of better spec

Niether of us have ever been on one and others insurance. Best way.

My misses is a Nutter behind the wheel, a lot worse that me shebthrashes the crap out of the Clio and will probably end of blowing it up!

two seconds after doing it all the girlfriend wanted to go shopping so i told be careful don't break nothing, she came back 5 mins later and said she had hit the kerb outside the bank! kerbed alloys and a badly scuffed and broke in two splitter!

the best part was when she tried to blame me for lowering it slightly...
