Yeah you need to find out if it has had its 24k service otherwise your looking at at least £150 for that.

What condition are the tyres in ? are the the same set it came oit of the factory on ? if they are .. depending on the womans driving style they will also be needing changed soon ..

Based on what I've been learning about used 182 prices over the last few weeks, I would say £7k optimistic maximum. It's quite low mileage, but it isn't cupped and it's the most common colour. Hardly an example to command a preimum.

At the end of the day if the car is the one you want, and your happy paying for it, then buy it.

Without the cup packs does knock a bit of value off it, but it has been fully serviced and looked after, and drives well, go buy it.

Check other one's for sale on here and Autotrader etc too.

And why would anyone want to go by the stealers prices?? They mark up by way too much imo, the warrantys are worth diddly squat anyway, best buying private and paying a bit extra to get an AA or RAC or someone similar to check it over

I reckon its overpriced. Dont rush into a purchase and spend a few weeks looking. I bought a non cup packed 182, racing blue, similar miles, very good condition, 04 plate for quite a bit less than he's asking about 10 months ago.
Reckon i paid a few hundred quid more than it was worth too.

Remember getting flamed for saying they should lower the price cos they were simply asking too much money, told them £7500 was more like it, probably even less now.

Guess it took a while for it to sink in.

If you do buy that one remember to check the finance against it, i think thats why they were saying they must get £8500 for it.

I've had a look at some private sales in my area, and i reckon its a pretty good price, yeah it has no cup packs, but they were only a £600ish option ("waits for someone to correct") so it shouldn't make too much difference to the value, they are great cars with or without the cup packs IMO.

I agree completely craig.

We own the clios, and moan when they depreciate, but i think its people on this forum in part that drive the prices down.

Someone sees one car sold at a cheaper price (for quick sale etc), then suddenly every other clio is overpriced.

Seems like a good price for it mate, drive it, and if you like it, go for it. They'll probably take 7.5k for it if you barter.

Im all for keeping prices up, however for a car priced at £7850 the seller wants 7.5K, if he needs to sell you'll get it for bwtween £7000-7200.
