Got the 197 out last night

It was horrible! :dead: Took her for a drive as its just locked away + to get some pics with the beast.

After driving the vee for nearly three weeks now I cannot go back to it! It was wierd getting back in it, just felt wrong! Theres nothing wrong with it, im just into the vee + now use to it.

Strange after a short amount of time how you lose touch with things, or maybe its just me!

Still a lovely looking car

LOL knows it man it's hideous!!

Aye a got a set the day but i canny get the calipers off to change them

was trying it in my shirt n tie etc LOL :clown:

(too weak to undo the bolts )

Got the wheel off and then tried to take the bolts off at the back of the calipers, they were on the end of what looked like a spring :S..

f**k knos! My step dads got a torque wrench apparently and he'll do it tomorrow .. he said he needs to know what Newton meters the bolts are tightened to :S.. (he's english LOL) is he talking mince ??

fair comment, i'd say to say the 197 is HORRIBLE is maybe a tiny bit of an overstatement, but i certainly know what you mean about how you can get used to a certain car, afterall the V6 is a very special motor. I felt the same when i left the 182 for my 197, i couldnt go back to the 182.

Now i'm about to leave the 197 myself for something totally different, and its unlikely i'll get back into a 197, although i have no gripes with it at all, i think its a brilliant and competent car and i'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone, i just fancy a change.

Maybe you are just used to the extra power, and the extra attention the v6 brings

It does feel weird going back to your old car, I still sometimes drive my old 182 as my boyfriend has it now, and as much as I still love it, I much prefere being in the vee!

I have to ask how come you have a Vee AND a 197? Not that I'm jealous at all.

I wonder how my 182 would feel now after having the Meg for nearly a year. Rattly and unstable probably lol

Dont get me wrong, the 197 is a brill car and well worth the money. But 4me its always been the vee
