Probably cos the map has been filled to the edges as the map on GTA IV is an outline of roads mostly.
If that is the map for GTA 5 then Rockstar are super lazy lol.

Looks awesome, bare in mind it looks like only main roads in the city are marked, so there will no doubt be lots more side streets etc.

Finally gave in and preordered this from Amazon.

I hope the map is smaller, I always preferred 3 and VC over SA and IV, mainly due to the smaller maps which made it easier to get around.
