Grease on wheel brush

Was giving the mrs car a clean over came to do the wheels, put brush between spokes to clean inside of the wheels when I pulled it out it was covered in thick grease :-( the cv joint has split causing it to spread everywhere.......

Tried washing the brush on it's own but no joy..... Any ideas otherwise it's in the bin and buy another. Oh and it's the EZ Detail one

Try some brake cleaner or thinners maybe?

I had a go with engine cleaner but it's just too thick grease

I did the same when washing Dave88's shed, i just covered it in engine de-greaser and washed it a few times and its alright now

Might just keep cleaning, I have been just spraying AG engine cleaner on it and washing. Might have to try something more industrial

Managed to shift it today! Found some paint brush cleaner - not turps, put a bit on and the stuf came right off!!

I would be worried about what ever was used to clean it, was still on the brush when I come to touch my wheels again. Always, therefore, buy a new one Happened to me two/three weeks ago as well.

Use some jizer or similar. Clean throughly after. It'll be alreet.
