Green stuff pads gotta love em

Car  Megane 225 Cup
01032010632.webp

replaced with ds2500s and brembo max discs

how dogey is this lol

I had a set that crumbled like cream crackers.

On a Rover 218vvc coupe iirc.

everytime a post comes up about pads, i say this and people still come on and try and defend them saying there an ok pad. there not. there s**t. they dont work any better than standards and they fall apart.

i don't know why there's so much trouble with Greenstuffs (got throught three sets on my last car and quite liked them), but they're probably best avoided due to all of this variation

i think they used to be ok , had a few sets in the past (years ago)

maybe now made in china or somwhere like that

they're made in Bristol actually! :o

someone i know knows someone within, who'll apparently 'procure' them, but i've not had any from him yet

i wouldn't use them if i was paid TBH. FAR worse than budget cheapo pads. anyone who thinks they're acceptable doesn't use the car to the level of needing anything but standard

I had EBC on mine when I did FCS last year and they were rubbish! Were even rubbish on normal driving. :) I would sturggle to stop down the bottom of Tesco Hill (dannyr you'l know where I mean)

Changed to standard mintex and I feel like im actually going to stop now :)

some people seem to have bother and others don't. mine were used on road and track/sprint in a 205

I ran them in a 205, couldn't get across Milton Keynes without fading to nothing, pedal was to the floor on the 4th roundabout. £9 pads from a factor and total confidence restored

Exact same thing happened to me, material came away from back plate. Never touched them since.

Got them on at the moinute and definitely not an upgrade.....As said I'd not put them being any better than OE Pads

Looking to change for DS2500's or Pagid's

The guys on passionford seem to rate them..... Maybe different pads suit different cars??? Cant see how, but just a thought....

mine lasted 10000 miles before breaking up. suffered severe fade aswell after one stop from any speed above 60 they were too hot. and when cold they were utter trash

I have EBC greens on my valver, they survived fcs track time last year and have suffered quite a few 'spirited' drives and not had a problem.
